I've read with a kind of disengagement? detachment? a discussion on lj about Spike ..like I would follow from afar things going on in a country where I used to wander all the time with great pleasure. It doesn't grab my interest anymore.
It happened often in the past weeks.Well, I wasn't really participating since the beginning of July, to be honest.

My love for the Spuffy story is untouched though but the never ending threads about the show and the why and how leave me cold now.I see why some people ( mostly coming into fandom recently ) have fun getting excited about discussing it but I'm pretty satisfied standing in the shadows.I still love well written fics madly.
Maybe it's the end of an era.

Hee, I don't know if you noticed the date
Yes I did, and it made me smile. And feel old! ;)

- but ! I 'm not interested. :-)
It's good that there are so many new fans fighting our battles for us, isn't it? Also I must admit to Doctor Who having stolen my time - new canon is very addictive!

It's a nifty and rather pretty place indeed , even if I'm still pondering what exactly to do with this corner of online life.:)
Same here. Might start cross-posting properly, and - as you say - it's good to have in case fandom moves!
